The parents of Borussia Dortmund‘s star, Youssoufa Moukoko, are now officially without a home as they find themselves on the streets of Hamburg, seeking refuge from the rain.
This unfortunate situation arose from a family conflict between the footballer and his father. Upon turning 18, Youssoufa decided to stop providing assistance to his family and severed all ties with them.
Now, his father, mother, and siblings are facing new challenges, despite their son/brother earning an impressive annual salary of 6 million euros at Borussia Dortmund.
The disagreement between Youssoufa and his father began before the footballer’s birthday, revolving around financial matters. Youssoufa chose to wait until he reached 18 years old to take full control over signing a new contract with Borussia.
As a consequence, his parents can no longer afford the expenses associated with their living situation, accumulating a debt of 500,000 euros and ultimately leading to their property being mortgaged. Consequently, they had no choice but to seek temporary accommodation at a refugee reception center.
Marie, Youssoufa’s mother, expressed gratitude for the staff’s assistance in finding them a suitable place, highlighting that she has six children and not just one.
While their son no longer supports or assists them financially, Joseph, Youssoufa’s father, refrains from speaking negatively about him despite the difficult circumstances.
